M/V SAMISH

The second in the Olympic Class ferries, Samish, is the newest ferry operating in the Puget Sound.

In December 2013, Theo spent an entire week on Whidbey Island viewing & documenting the roll out of M/V Samish from Nichols Brothers Boat Builders! It was a blast!

Samish joined the WSF Fleet on April 10th, 2015 and is scheduled to set sail in June 2015!

 

On May 20th the Samish was officially christened by the Samish Nation and state First Lady Trudy Inslee. The ship began service on June 14th!
